Intro:
The Los Angeles Kings and New Jersey Devils players react to the Kings taking a 3-0 lead in the NHL Stanley Cup finals series.
Script:
SOUNDBITE: (English) Anze Kopitar, LA Kings Center:
"Oh... since I've been here six years now and it hasn't been the been the brightest... that hockey can be and LA being a hockey town, and we've turned this thing around this year and you know, you want to win it for the fans of course and you want to win it for ourselves too, because some of us haven't done it yet. That's the biggest stage of hockey where you can possibly play. And certainly again, the fourth one is going to be the toughest one."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Drew Doughty, LA Kings Defenseman:
"Yeah, we will probably go to the rink and practice. I don't know, it might be an option to skate, I'm not really sure, I haven't heard yet. Yeah, we will hang out tomorrow. We pretty much hang out everyday. Whether we are on the ice or not. We are either in the locker-room doing something. Playing ping-pong, basketball, something like that. So we got a really, really good group of guys here. And I think everyone like everyone. The management have done a good job of not only drafting good players, and bringing in good players, but good people too."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Johan Hedberg, NJ Devils Goaltender:
"We got to be focused and we got to be positive and believe in what we do. And it has been working for us in the play-offs, and thee is no reason to start doubting ourselves now. And sooner or later, we are going to get some breaks."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Martin Brodeur, NJ Devils Goaltender:
"You know, it's a hockey game. They are trying really hard. I think we have played some really good hockey. Just that we can't find a way to score goals, and that is definitely the tough way of going about games because you need goals to win. But, it's just unfortunate, but everybody is trying really hard and really proud of these guys. We are not quiting. We are not going to quit."
