Ranieri: Leicester deserved more

Sunday, August 21 2016 by SNTV
  • Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri spoke after his team's 0-0 draw at King Power Stadium on Saturday (20th August).

SOUNDBITE: (English) Claudio Ranieri, Leicester City manager:
"It was a good performance. The result is good. I think we deserved a little more but it's OK. They kept more possession. They were very dangerous, but not with the clear chance. We kept less possession but we know this. But we created a lot more clear chances to win the match. It was unlucky. But I am very happy for our spirit, for the union of the team."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Claudio Ranieri, Leicester City manager (on whether Leicester deserved a penalty):
"I don't know, I am not a manager who says 'Oh there was a penalty - it's a cry. No, no, no. For me it's OK. The referee had a very good performance. And for me a penalty is when the referee whistle. He didn't whistle it wasn't"
