Ji not focussed on the leaderboard

Sunday, July 10 2016 by SNTV
  • Third-round reaction from Eun-Hee Ji and Amy Yang from the U.S. Women's Open on Saturday, 9 July.

    SOUNDBITE (English): Eun-Hee Ji, shot a 2-under-par 70 (-6 Overall):

"You know, I'm not trying to see the leaderboard. I'm trying to focus on my game and trying to be patient more. And tomorrow like same thing as today, trying to hit the fairway more and green, middle of the green, and trying to make a putt a lot."

SOUNDBITE (English): Amy Yang, shot a 1-over-par 73 (-5 Overall):

"Being plus 1 today? No, no. It's not -- it was hard to play out there. The wind started, picked up by the time we teed off first tee. It's been tough round out there, so 1-over still -- I mean, I'm in contention, so it's not hurting that much."
    Q. The game is solid, you think?
"Yeah, yeah. It's so windy out there, it wasn't easy. I had to try to save pars up-and-downs quite a lot, but I save it. I save some good up-and-downs. I'm still hitting it good. So I'm looking forward to it."
