Windy conditions 'tough' - Lee

Saturday, July 09 2016 by SNTV
  • Late second-round reaction from Mirim Lee, Kelly Tan, Jody Ewart-Shadoff at the U.S. Women's Open on Friday, 8 July.

SOUNDBITE (English): Mirim Lee, shot a 2-over-par 74 (-6 Overall):

"I think today course was tough, like too much windy. And so I keep trying to like hit the fairway and the green, but I couldn't. So score, it's not bad, but not good, too."

SOUNDBITE (English): Kelly Tan, shot a even-par 72 (-4 Overall):

"I think for me to not think about the results helps me to be really calm out there. To try to, you know, really go one shot at a time, to do my thing, my routine, go through my process, and that's really the only thing I was worrying about out there. Just take whatever it gives me. And it's another chance, that's how I look at it."

    SOUNDBITE (English): Jody Ewart-Shadoff, shot a 1-under-par 71 (-3 Overall):

"Oh, it's a huge boost of confidence, I mean, to be shooting under par at the U.S. Open, you know, in conditions like this, I mean, it just reaffirms that I'm doing, you know, what I'm supposed to be doing."
