Intro:
Mickey Rourke wins an exhibition boxing bout in Moscow.
Script:
Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke returned to the boxing ring on Friday (28th November) at the age of 62, beating a fighter less than half his age in an exhibition bout.
The bout at a Moscow concert hall was Rourke's first fight in 20 years.
He took a break from acting in the early 1990s and finished his three-year pro boxing career with six wins and two draws.
Rourke hinted that the return to the ring has helped him cope with unspecified personal issues.
Rourke sent 29-year-old Pasadena, California native Elliot Seymour to the flooe in the second round before the referee stopped the fight.
His final punch struck the stumbling Seymour on the buttocks and the 29-year-old went down to all fours until the referee stopped the contest.
Rourke has said he plans to hold another four fights in Russia.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, Rourke said he won't fight anywhere else....
"Doesn't really have a lot to do with the age thing. You know, I used to train in a gym in Miami, there was an old fighter there, and old contender that was about 75 years old, he could kick any 20-year-old's ass."
"It's the only place I'll fight, I won't fight anywhere else."
Reporter: "Why?"
Rourke: "Because they appreciate me here."
