Li Na, Caroline Wozniacki, Agnieszka Radwanska and Dominika Cibulkova all advanced to the next round of the Sony Open in Miami on Sunday (23 March) following third round victories.

China's Li Na overcame three set points to overtake American Madison Keys 7-6, 6-3.

The No. 2-seed Li, the reigning Australian Open champion, won even though she had seven double-faults and was broken four times.

Keys failed to convert her set points serving at 5-3 in the first set. She also squandered a lead in the second set, when three times she was within a point of going up 3-love against Li.

Dominika Cibulkova, runner up to Na in the Australian Open final, will face Venus Williams in the next round, the Slovakian, seeded 10th, beat number 22 seed Alice Cornet in straight sets 7-6, 6-1.

Caroline Wozniacki lost only five points in the second set and beat number 17 seed Sloane Stephens 6-1, 6-0 with fiance Rory McIlroy watching in the stands.

Agnieszka Radwanska came through her third round match without any trouble. She beat Elena Vesnina in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.

She will now face the unseeded Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in the next round.
