Double-amputee Olympian Oscar Pistorius departed court in Pretoria, South Africa on Monday - following the conclusion of another day of his murder trial.

Pistorius has been accused of murdering his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius says he killed Steenkamp by accident before dawn on February 14th last year, shooting her through a closed toilet door after mistaking her for an intruder in his home.

Steenkamp's mother, June, was in the Pretoria courtroom for a second time on Monday - but left when photographs of the murder scene became too graphic.

June Steenkamp last attended the trial on the opening day on March 3rd.
