Second seed Novak Djokovic came from a set down to beat Marin Cilic 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 and reach the quarter-finals of the BNP Paribas Open on Wednesday, while seventh seed Roger Federer was a straight sets 6-4, 6-4 winner over Tommy Haas.

    Script:

Andy Murray came up against a determined Milos Raonic in the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open on Wednesday.

The Canadian picked up his first win over a top-10 player since September.

Raonic hit 15 aces on his way to a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 win over Murray.

The 23-year-old Canadian will now face Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine in the quarter-finals.

Dolgopolov cruised into the last eight with a straight sets 6-2, 6-4 win over Italian Fabio Fognini.

Also into the last eight is South African Kevin Anderson who caused an upset by eliminating the current Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka, to end his 13-match unbeaten run.

The Swiss did get medical attention for his back after losing the first set tie-break, returned to take the second set 6-4, but Anderson dominated the third 6-1 for his 150th career match win on the ATP Tour.

Later in the day Roger Federer set up a quarter-final encounter with the shock winner Anderson.

He beat 11th-seed German Tommy Haas in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.

Novak Djokovic was made to work harder for his win as he struggled in the first set of his match against Croatia's 24th seed Marin Cilic, losing it 6-1.

But he recovered to take the second set 6-2 and won the decider 6-3 to seal a spot in the final eight where he will play world number 67 Frenchman Julien Benneteau.
