    There were third round wins for Andy Murray, Roger Federer, Milos Roanic and Fabio Fognini at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells on Monday (10th March).

    Andy Murray struggled past 20-year-old Czech Jiri Vesely Indian Wells on Monday, to progress to the fourth round of the tournament.

    The Wimbledon champion made 47 unforced errors during the match which lasted nearly three hours, on route to a 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 victory.

    Elsewhere seventh seed Roger Federer, enjoyed a straight sets victory over Russian Dmitry Tursunov.

    And 10th seed Milos Raonic, of Canada, had little trouble in dispatching the unseeded Colombian Alejandro Falla 6-4, 6-3.

    Whilst thirteenth seed Fabio Fognini of Italy had to save two match points on his way to a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 victory over Frenchman Gael Monfils.
