  • Intro:

Tomas Berdych and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga crash out at the BNP Paribas tournement at Indian Wells in California as Novak Djokovic cruises through.

    Script:

The seeds have been falling in Indian Wells. The first to crash out was fourth seed Tomas Berdych. He was expected to cruise past world number 53 Roberto Bautista Agut .

But despite winning the first set, Berdych was broken five times in all and went out in three.

There was another shock later in day as Jo-Wilfried Tsonga crashed out against fellow Frenchman Julian Benneteau.

Tsonga made a number of errors and Benneteau took full advantage to win 6-4, 6-4.

No such troubles for world number two Novak Djokovic. After coming through tight first set against Victor Hanescu. Djokovic's quality shone through as he ran out a 6-2 winner in the second.

Fifteenth seed Grigor Dimitrov was also in impressive form, He put out Robin Haase of the Netherlands, 6-4, 6-3.

He plays Ernests Gulbis in the next round in what will be their third meeting this month.

And big serving John Isner had little trouble beating Nikolay Davydenko. He didn't face a break point all match and it's easy to see why. Isner won 7-6, 6-3 victory to go through to the next round.
