    Script:

Andy Murray is out of the Australian Open after a quarter-final defeat to a resurgent Roger Federer in Melbourne. The Swiss took the first two sets 6-3 and 6-4 in front of his new coach Stefan Edberg who has helped the 32-year-old back to the sort of form that made him World number one for 302 weeks.
It was tough for Murray who looked out of luck too as Federer won this point despite the ball appearing to bounce twice before he hit it.
Undeterred the Scot survived two match points and went on to win the set on a tie-break to keep the match alive.
There was to be no great comeback though, Federer, who is looking for a record 18th grandslam title, broke Murray's serve with a point that epitomised his new attacking approach.
The number six seed went on to win the final set 6-4 to set up a semi-final against current world number one Rafael Nadal.
