Roger Federer so often known for playing the impossible shot, pulled off another one in Brisbane on Wednesday.

Sublime shots, most notably the "in-between" legs shot at the US Open back in 2009, are one of the reasons why he is so adored, but this one was even more outrageous.

The former World Number One framed a shot which bounced on the opposite side of the net before spinning back over onto his and Nicolas Mahut's side of the court.

The incident left everyone present bemused, including his opponents Jeremy Chardy and Grigor Dimitrov.

Federer is arguably the greatest player of all time, but even he couldn't claim to have meant this one.
