    Script:

Headphone-wearing Victoria Azarenka took on Switzerland's Stefanie Voegele in the Brisbane International quarter-final on Thursday.

The Australian Open champion certainly liked the sound of the first set scoreline, which she won 6-4.

Such melody turned into disharmony when the unseeded Voegele took the second set on a tie-break.

But the tournament's second seed responded by breaking Voegele in the third set.

World number two Azarenka then fired off this ace to win the match.

The 24-year-old Belarusian will now play the competition's fourth seed Jelena Jankovic in the semi-final at the Pat Rafter Arena on Friday.

With Azarenka claiming the last spot in the final four, this is the first time in the tournament’s history that the top four women’s seeds have filled all four semifinals places.
