"First of all, we have to focus on the opening two days, those two days are important for us to try to get advantage coming into the third day. That would be the ideal scenario. Of course, if I get to play Tomas (Berdych), I am definitely going to try to win. Playing for our country means a lot to all of us - and it is definitely different when you play an individual tournament against one of the big rivals, and when you are playing in front of 20,000 people who are cheering you and supporting you all the way, so that is something that I can use as my asset."

"I am still in the recovery process. It's not been a great couple of weeks for me. I tried practising a little bit without any pain - but hopefully we will sit down tonight and make a final decision whether or not am I going to play on Friday or what is going to happen.
