    Script:

Day six of the ATP World Tour Finals got underway at the 02 arena in London on Saturday.

In the doubles, Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo completed Group A with a perfect 3-0 record.

    They beat fifth seeds Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer 7-5, 3-6, 11-9.

Next on court, Roger Federer faced Juan Martin Del Potro with both players looking for a win to secure their place in the semi-finals.

Del Potro made a blistering start breaking the six time former champion in his opening service game.

The Swiss player trailed 1-4 in the first set, and looked to be in real trouble.

Del Potro duly took the opening set 6-4.

The Argentine then openined out a commanding 3-1 lead in the second set.

But Federer found some of his best form when seemingly in trouble.

He reeled off 12 straight points to force his way back into contention, before dominating the subsequent tie-break and taking it 7-2 with a clinical ace on set point.

In the deciding set, Del Potro earned a break-back point as Federer was serving for the match, but the seven-time Wimbledon champion fended his challenge off before securing the win with an ace.

He will now face Rafael Nadal for a place in the final.
