Dolce & Gabbana Italia Thunder beat World Series of Boxing Group B leaders Astana Arlans Kazakhstan 4-1 on Saturday, while the German Eagles were 5-0 winners over the British Lionhearts. In Group A Algeria Desert Hawks won 3-2 against Hussars Poland on Sunday.

Group A third-placed team Hussars Poland slipped to a 3-2 defeat against Algeria Desert Hawks in Algiers on Sunday, a result which kept the north African team in the hunt for fourth spot and a place in the quarter-finals.

It was Yan Sudzilouski that secured the victory with his heavyweight win over Kamel Rahmani.

Azerbaijan Baku Fires remain top of Group A, despite a 5-0 defeat at Mexico Guerreros, who are second, and with only one group match remaining both look set to make the semi-finals.

Elsewhere in Group A Argentina Condors are in fourth spot thanks to a 4-1 win over bottom side Russia Boxing Team, that's kept them on course to make the quarter-finals in their debut WSB season.

Last year's WSB finalists Russia Boxing Team can still qualify for the knockout stages, they have three more Group A contests remaining.

In Group B leaders Astana Arlans Kazakhstan lost 4-1 away against Dolce & Gabbana Italia Thunder.

The Italians won the first four contests of the night, but in the fifth bout 2012 Olympic silver medallist and Thunder captain, Clemente Russo, fell to his first ever World Series of Boxing defeat, as he lost to 22-year-old Romanian Mihai Nistor.

Elsewhere on Saturday the German Eagles took a comprehensive 5-0 win over the British Lionhearts in Hannover.
