    The Los Angeles Dodgers announced the signing of South Korean Starting Pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu to a six-year, 36-million US dollar contract on Monday.

    "We want to welcome Ryu to the Dodgers. And I know that Ned had been working very hard to improve our pitching staff, and we as the owners from Mark Walter, to Todd (Boehly), to Peter (Guber), to Bobby (Patton), we are so excited about the hard work that Ned has put into finding and signing Ryu."

    "I would like to thank Ned Colletti, that you have given me a chance to play for this historical team, the L.A. Dodgers. I have watched Chan (Ho Park) pitch since I was young in a lot of Dodgers games, and I have learned how to play Chan's game. It is my honour to get to play with the Dodgers here.
