"I think it's extremely important whether it's the money or the resources that the Yankees have, doing this collection. And, you know, you're suiting people coming from all over to give, you know, clothes, sleeping bags, cleaning supplies, under garments, baby food, I think I even saw some dog food. I mean people lost everything and it's important that we do try to give back. And I love that the Yankees are actually going out and distributing the stuff. There just not talking it and saying, here somebody else do it. They're going to the places that were hit the hardest."

"You know, being in New Jersey and, you know, seeing the gas rationing and things, you know, the stuff that people are going through, it's tough to see. So, you know, I'm here in any way to help and this is just one of the ways that, you know, we're going to try to help, you know, rebuild the area."
