St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Matheny admits he is worried about a San Francisco Giants comeback ahead of game six of their play-off series.

SOUNDBITE (English) Mike Matheny, St. Louis Cardinals Manager, on the Giants: "I don't necessarily see them as pesky as much as just talented and the same kind of makeup that we have - they aren't going to go away and neither are we and we knew that going in to this thing and as soon as we won a couple games at home there were no, nobody in there for a second under the belief that this was going to be a team that was gonna just roll over. And so we know that this team has the ability to do what they did once again in Cincinnati - running in there and doing something that hasn't been done all season (winning three in a row). They've got a good club, very well rounded, they've got everything they need. It's just a matter of execution and they executed better than us yesterday."

SOUNDBITE (English) Mike Matheny, St. Louis Cardinals Manager, on San Francisco starter Ryan Vogelson: "He's not going to probably do things much differently, he's going to want to do exactly what he did last time. But he's got good stuff, and when he makes his pitches it's going to be a tough day for us."

SOUNDBITE (English) Chris Carpenter, St. Louis Cardinals Pitcher: "I feel like, like I said before, I feel like my stuff was getting better each time out and I was able to go out and compete. The last time out my stuff went backwards a little bit and my command wasn't very good and I was trying to do everything I could to get outs but just unfortunately it didn't work. So I had some nice work in between that start and this start and I feel good and I'm looking forward to going back out there."
