    Script:

Agnieszka Radwanska was looking to continue her great summer when she took on Sofia Arvidsson in the second round of the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati on Wednesday.

Radwanska took the first set 6-4 and the Wimbledon finalist showed her style on her way to a straight sets victory.

Radwanska will face wild card Sloane Stephens in the round of 16.

The Pole could become world number one if she wins the tournament.

Petra Kvitova has also been in good form.

The Czech world number five won her maiden title of the season in Montreal last week but Kvitova lost the first set of her second round clash against Mona Barthel.

Kvitova picked up her game in the second set, before her German opponent faltered in the deciding set, allowing Kvitova to set up a third round encounter with China's Peng Shuai with a 3-6 6-2 7-5 victory.
