I mean he (Justin Verlander) could pitch against us five more times and probably hold us scoreless for an inning or two. But I think sometimes you've got to just tip your cap. Our guys competed and they did a great job."

"Well it's very disappointing because we're competitors and we want to win. But I think you have to tip your cap to the National League, they came in, they swung the bats and once they got a lead they brought in those arms they have. And they got the job done."
