Mike Tyson wants his next knockout to be on Broadway.

The former boxer has announced that he will team up with director Spike Lee to bring his one-man show, "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth", to the Longacre Theatre for six nights only.

"This is not an easy thing to do to go before the world and share with an audience what he's done in his life and I think that this is even more importantly this is about redemption. This is about human character."

SOUNDBITE (English) Mike Tyson, Former Boxing Champion, Actor:
"People know me basically, they know a lot about me but they really don't know who I am and probably why I am that way so they'll find that out too. They'll find out that my mother's a prostitute, my father's a pimp and I come from a real I don't know what? The sex worker world and stuff. That's why I looked at the world from a different perspective when I was a young kid. No way I could have a good relationship for women back then after viewing that kind of goodies - so I talk about that stuff."

SOUNDBITE (English) Mike Tyson, Former Boxing Champion, Actor:
"This is entertainment as well. You know I'm not up here doing any sob story, 'Woe is me', this is an entertainment but I'm telling you from a human perspective. This is just Mike's life from the beginning to now and from then and now it's going to be a, 'Wow, it's pretty dynamic.' It's really amazing now that I'm alive and I can talk about it but it's pretty amazing, yes. But I don't think it's therapy though. I wish it was therapy."
