Intro:
Andy Murray has been speaking about his memories of Queen's Club and how his back is after the Scot's recent injury concerns.
Script:
Andy Murray was given a traditional British welcome home on Monday when the first day of Queen's was ruined by the rain.
The break in play gave Murray the chance to discuss his memories for the pre-Wimbledon tournament.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Andy Murray: (on playing at Queen's Club):
"Yeah, well, I've always enjoyed playing here. I like the surface. I think the courts here are, you know, pretty much perfect grass courts and I just have good memories here. I won my very first ATP match here when I was 18 and since then I've just really enjoyed coming back and I've got great results here."
The Scot went on to say his early exit from the French Open had allowed his back injury to finally heal.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Andy Murray: (on his recent back injury):
"Oh, a couple of weeks ago there was (an injury), but I've felt pretty good the last few matches I've played at the French Open and obviously I didn't want to lose early there, but I managed to get a couple of days off, which I hadn't had in three and a half to four weeks, which I really needed for my back and it felt much better. I had a couple of good practices on the grass and it has felt fine."
Murray's first match at Queen's Club will be against Nicolas Mahut on Wednesday.
