With the morning mist still hanging across the Orchid Country Club on Saturday morning, the Singapore Classic field were out to finish Friday's rain-shortened second round.

India's Jeev Milka Singh is one of the bigger names in Singapore this week, but he had a forgettable second round, missing birdie on 14. Eventually coming in at one-over 71.

Australia's Keiran Pratt finished his round two shots off the lead at seven-under after a four-under 66, that included birdie on 12.

Asian Tour rookie David Lipsky carded a one-under 69 on Saturday.

Placing his second shot to within a foot of the flag on the par-four 10th to set up birdie, ending the round tied for second on eight-under.

Also a shot adrift in second after completing his second round is Japan's Daisuke Kataoka, who birdied number three on his way to a three-under 67.

After shooting a nine-under 61 to take the first-round lead, Thaworn Wiratchant had a forgettable second round.

His birdie putt misses on seventeen and eighteen told the story as the Thai is another in second place on eight-under.

The new surprise leader was Malaysia's Shaaban Hussin who came out firing on Saturday, following up an opening 64 with a five-under 65.

He picked up two birdies to take a one-shot lead at nine-under-par, heading into the third round of a weather-affected Singapore Classic.

Play was then called off because of darkness with the leaders yet to head out.

The Singapore Classic will now be reduced to 54 holes.
