Yu Darvish had his final spring training practise on Wednesday as the Texas Rangers took on the Frisco RoughRiders at the Dr Pepper Ballpark.
The Japanese pitcher says he's feeling ready for the new season.
Texas pitcher Yu Darvish had his final tuneup of spring training on Wednesday.
The Japanese right-hander struck out five batters over four scoreless innings to help the Rangers to a 6-1 win over their Double-A affiliate, the Frisco RoughRiders.
Darvish started the game well, striking out the first two batters he faced.

'Today I threw all the pitches that I wanted to throw. Overall I felt really good about my outing today.'
Darvish threw 60 pitches, walked two batters and allowed a pair of singles against the RoughRiders.
The Rangers committed more than $107 million USD over the winter to sign the 25-year-old, who was a star player in Japan's Pacific League.
Next up for Darvish is his scheduled start on Monday night at Rangers Ballpark.
And he feels his spring training has prepared him well.
