Lewandowski triple helps Bayern to big win

  • Robert Lewandowski scored a first half hat-trick as Bayern Munich thrashed Carl Zeiss Jena 5-0 on Friday (19th August), in the first round of the DFB Cup.

    Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring after three minutes as Bayern Munich took on Carl Zeiss Jena FC in the opening round of the DFB Cup.

    The Polish striker grabbed a second goal in the 34th minute, before wrapping up a first half hat trick ten minutes later, as Bayern ran riot.

    Lewandowski also had a hand in Bayern's fourth as he set up Arturo Vidal for an easy finish.

    Mats Hummels completed the scoring with his first goal for the Bundesliga champions.

    5-0 the final score.
