West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis spoke on Friday (19th August) about their upcoming English Premier League game against Everton - and wanting to keep striker Saido Berahino.

"The win gives us three points. That was important for us. I thought the lads were fantastic last Saturday, it was a great result for us, great performance for our players. It hasn't changed anything with what I said last week in respect to bringing players in. It's just making sure we bring the right players in. That's the most important thing."

"Saido Berahino's got ten days to go and we can start talking about football again fingers crossed. Nobody is more keen for Saido to stay than me. He played really well with Salomon Rondon last week and as far as I'm concerned, as far as the board is concerned...Jeremy (Peace) and the Chinese, unless somebody comes in with an unbelievable offer and we have a replacement then Saido will be going nowhere."

"We need to strengthen every position and every part of the team. We're looking to bring five players in if we can. That's what we've got to do. It's not just the two centre-halves or whether it's another centre-forward, we've got to do it right through the team."
