Thursday, July 28 2016 by SNTV
  • Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and MLS All-Star Kaka spoke on Tuesday (26th July) about the upcoming match between the two sides in San Jose, California

SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager:

"My first impression is that there are more and more people here in the (United) States who love football and we meet so many people who know our players - that is a bit unusual for us in the States and that's a good sign that football is taking off in the States. And we know that because there are now many players from the Premier League who come here to the MLS."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Kaka, MLS All-Star

"Well, I think it's very good. I had a chance to play last year and for me it was a great experience because I grew up in Brazil watching the All-Star games - NBA, NFL and baseball - and last year I had the chance to play one game like this so for me it was very good. And, as I said, when we have the chance to spend the some time together with the players who are playing in this league and we can understand and share some stories, experiences, it's very good. So it's a fun week for us, it's a good game for everybody. When we have the chance to play against a team like Arsenal, it's always good."
