Fans gathered in Piazza del Duomo on Saturday (28th May) to soak up the atmosphere in the city ahead of the UEFA Champions League final, which takes place in the San Siro at 1845GMT.

Milan has been turned into a mini-Madrid as both Real and Atletico fans get set for tonight's Champions League final.

Some fans waited in line for the arrival of the Champions League trophy which was brought in a special protective case to be put on display in the heart of the city at 11am (9GMT).

Fans were then able to get their photo taken with the prize that either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid will be taking home with them after tonight's match.

Tonight's final is a repeat of the 2014 final which took place in Lisbon with Real Madrid beating their city rivals 4-1 to win their tenth European Cup.

And these fans think history will repeat it tonight.

Atletico, of course will be looking for revenge for that defeat 2 years ago and are seeking the club's first ever Champions League trophy.
