Leinster on brink of Champions Cup exit

  • Toulon beat Leinster 24-9 in the European Champions Cup on Sunday (13th December).

    Both Leinster and Toulon came into this Champions Cup fixture looking for their first win in Pool 5.

    Leinster lost to Bath last time out, while Toulon lost to Wasps ahead of this noisy affair at the Stade Mayol.

    It was the men from the Emerald isle who led early on.

    Toulon led 10-9 at the break.

    Toulon and Leinster meet at the Aviva in Dublin next Saturday, Leinster must win to have any chance of qualification.
