Arsene Wenger on Thursday (26th November) discussed Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Black Friday, the January transfer window and the English Premier League title race ahead of their trip to Norwich on Sunday (29th November).

"That's where you come back to bargain. What is for us is a bargain is to buy players of top quality, because only top quality strengthens our squad. So I can tell you I bought Patrick Vieira, for example, for GBR£2.5m, it was a top bargain. But first of all it was a top bargain because he was a top quality player. We spent GBR£40m, or nearly GBR£40m on Ozil, but I still consider it a bargain because the player is top quality. So what has to be the priority is the quality of the player."

"Spontaneously it's not maybe the best moment to rest Sanchez, but I don't know. He had a little hamstring alarm, but we will see how he recovers from that. (Joel) Campbell as well had a little calf problem, so we will have to assess all that on Friday, latest Saturday."

"Mathematically you cannot rule even the bottom teams out. So at the moment it is very difficult. I think it's so tight when you look at the league. I don't even look at the league at the moment, because it's very, very tight. Last weekend as you said we had a bad result against West Brom and (Manchester) City as well, so it compacted the whole table."
