SOUNDBITE: (English) Richie McCaw, New Zealand captain (Q: How different a proposition is Pocock, Hooper and Fardy compared to what you've faced in the World Cup so far?)

"To be honest if I think about the games we've played them in the Rugby Championship, especially the first one in Sydney, it looks very similar to be honest. But there is no doubt if you give the Wallabies quick ball and front foot ball, a team like…a loose forward trio with those two in it, it can make your life or make your day a pretty tough one."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Richie McCaw, New Zealand captain (Q: Will this be your last game?)

"It's something down the track, I just want to play this weekend and play this tournament and now this weekend the best I can and you still do the same things that you'd do if you're going to play for years on, not think oh this is the last time and that just hasn't entered my mind this week at all. I've made no secret that I'm going to have to have a good reflect on things after this, but I want to do this week right."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Richie McCaw, New Zealand captain (Q: Have you allowed yourself to think about lifting the World Cup trophy again and retain your title?)

"I guess leading into a week like this I haven't allowed myself to think any minute past or any second past the final whistle, because that lulls you into thoughts that are unhelpful for the game. So it's all be about what we do from the time the whistle goes to the time the last one goes and if we do that right and play our best, we'll give ourselves an opportunity, but we're going to have fifteen guys against us who have the same attitude. But we get that performance right, that would be something that would be pretty nice to do (lift trophy again)."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Richie McCaw, New Zealand captain (Q: There will be a lot of retirements from this side, will you use that as motivation to finish on a high or do you try and put it in a box?)

"Look to be honest there has been no talk about that at all and I think that's the last thing that any of us want. It's about the team performing on Saturday, it's not individuals and that's always been the best thing about this team is, no matter who you are, it's about the team performing on Saturday and personal milestones or personal things that are coming to it are left to the side."
