Jaguars "really excited" to be in London

Saturday, October 24 2015 by SNTV
  • The Jacksonville Jaguars practice in London on Friday just a few hours after arriving into the English capital ahead of the team's NFL International Series match against the Buffalo Bills at Wembley

Script: SOUNDBITE (English) Gus Bradley, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach:

    (On playing in London)

"To have an opportunity like this in London… I mean our fans are great back in Jacksonville, our fans in London, 40,000 and that's just the members and we know there's more than just that number, so to be able to come here and play in another home type atmosphere and have the opportunity to win, our players are really excited."

SOUNDBITE (English) Gus Bradley, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach:

    (On the team's struggles)

"It seems like I've been repeating the little things, the little things, the little things each week and our media has been getting a little bit tired of hearing that , but it's true. We are hoping that we do enough things during the week, enough things in practice and enough things in mind-set that will help us play longer and harder. That's what we are going after. It's the constant effort all the way through, no mistakes all the way through especially in that critical heightened environment."

SOUNDBITE (English) Julius Thomas, Jacksonville Jaguars tight end:

    (On the team's struggles)

"I often feel people on the outside think that teams are so far apart but when you start playing the game you realise professional football is so competitive it's going to come down to a few plays or a couple possessions here and there. That's what I've been trying to reinforce to my team-mates. We don't have to go out there and try and do too much and play selfishly and push us over the hump. What we need to do is eliminate mistakes."
