SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Hansen, New Zealand head coach:

"I think the hardest thing about this week's preparation is coming off the back of such a great win because externally everybody has got a little bit carried away with themselves and made some outrageous statements and internally there's an emotional high that comes with playing like that and it's really important to get a full stop as early as possible - you've got to enjoy that moment and you can't hide from it - but you've got to put a full stop on it otherwise to don't go great to great, you go great to struggling."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Hansen, New Zealand head coach:

"If we want to play to the point where we're in the final it's the same this week - it's life or death. You either stand up and be counted or you go home. Or even worse you've got to play that other game. And we don't want to do that. I'm assuming South Africa don't either. We're going to have to go to another level."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Dan Carter, New Zealand fly half (asked if the All Blacks can play better than last week against France):

"That's the challenge for us. My mate Aaron Smith here has been moaning about carrying me through the whole World Cup! It's about time I had a decent game. To be honest talking to mates, you're sick of hearing about it. You want to focus on this week and not look back. I think we've done that well as a team - we haven't talked about last week after our review on Monday. It's all been focussed on what's happening this week."
