  • Tottenham welcome the Buffalo Bills to London, having recently announced a 10-year partnership with the NFL.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Jan Vertonghen, Tottenham Hotspur (on where he could play in American football)

"I think I can throw a ball. I just got a big hit from one of them. I need to train a bit more I think, have some time in the gym but why now? Maybe if I was born in America, I would have played American football."

"I know that my brother absolutely loves it and you can feel that it is coming more and more on television, especially in the UK with live games. It's a bit like soccer in the States. Maybe soccer is bigger (there) than NFL is here but you know, these events help the NFL to grow here."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tyrod Taylor, quarterback (on being in London)

"It feels good. It's my first time here in London. A couple of guys on the team have been here before, but we're all enjoying our time and getting ready to get to work tomorrow."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Marcell Dareus, defensive tackle (on the growth of the sport in London)

"Everybody was always talking about it. Since we've been here, they've said we don't watch it as much but it's growing and everybody is talking about how a lot of people here are really supporting it and bringing it more on, taking it more on like it's still going to take a back seat to soccer, of course, but it's another sport that they have fallen into and are having a good time with."
