SOUNDBITE: (English) Ali Williams, former New Zealand lock forward:
"I wouldn't judge too much about pool play in terms of form going into play-off rugby. So, you know, for me they (New Zealand) haven't played their best rugby, but I don't think that really matters. I think their mindset will be in a great position. They know what they have to do. You've got simiar coaches to 2011. So look, I think it's exciting for New Zealand - they've got everything in front of them, the excitement in front of them. But I also think we probably need to respect the opposition a bit more - I think everyone tries to talk about how badly New Zealand play, well a bit of credit to the oppositon, I think they've (the oppositon) played extremely well, and I think it shows the gap in world rugby is definitely smaller and teams are goiing really well."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Ali Williams, former New Zealand lock forward:
"Be wary of the French, they play on huge emotion and it's events like this that they really thrive on. I think if you look at (fly-half) Fred Michalak I think he's probably playing some of his best rugby. Really I think behind the scenes he's marshalling the troops and the French forwards are going outstandingly well. So it's going to be a great game, something that the tournament's really going to need and I think everyone's going to get excited about."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Ali Williams, former New Zealand lock forward: (On whether tournament will provide 'fairytale ending' to careers of New Zealand's Richie McCaw and Dan Carter.)
"Well, I have looked into my golden ball and it does say it's going to be a fairytale. It's never put me wrong just yet, so that's where I'm going."
