SOUNDBITE (English) Ma'a Nonu, New Zealand centre:
(On how he feels about his performance in his 100th game)

"Just enjoy tonight with the balls tomorrow and probably see it tomorrow."

SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Carter, New Zealand fly half:
(On not letting Tonga score a try when they were metres out just before the half)

"That was credit to our defence. We were down to 14 men and that's probably what lifted us. It often takes some things like that when we are put under a lot of pressure and to absorb that pressure and really rise in intensity to hold them out in those five, ten minutes before the half. It put them under a lot of pressure and gave us a lot of confidence."

SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Carter, New Zealand fly half:
(On where the team can improve)

"There's a huge room for improvement. Knock out footy is completely different and we're going to have to step up mentally from the way we've been playing in the pool stages. We've got the team to be able to do that and we really need to put ourselves under a lot of pressure at training. There are a few parts of our game where we have to improve if we're going to give ourselves a chance to go through in this competition. But the goal was to get through to the quarterfinals, we've done that and it's effectively like a final for us, it's a must win and the guys are pretty excited about that."
