FIFA presidential contender Chung Mong-joon called Sepp Blatter a "hypocrite and a liar" on Wednesday (7th October) and said he is planning to sue the outgoing president for at least 100 million dollars.

"Mr. Blatter, in short, is a hypocrite and a liar. Whenever I speak to football leaders - most of them agree that Blatter is corrupt. But they never speak out. They would rather hide behind a curtain of fear and contempt. When FIFA is in total meltdown, and Mr Blatter's dynasty is coming to an end, still few dare to speak out against him. That's the reason why he is insists to stay on."

"We still don't know how much president Blatter's salary is. Back in 2002, during an ExCo meeting, I asked president Blatter his salary and expenses but he refused. Naturally for president Blatter to paid without ExCo approval is embezzlement. That is why I plan to sue Mr Blatter on his embezzlement in court."
