Former Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard gives his thoughts on Louis Van Gaal, the Dutch national team and other key issues in the sport.

"You never know but to be honest at this moment, I don't have any plans. Of course I am always interested in the game and I see a lot of games, for myself not yet."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Frank Rijkaard, former Netherlands player and manager (Q: They say Van Gaal is an interesting person to work with, many people say you either you love him or loathe, why do you think this is?)

"I think because people in general like to judge other people and, of course, he is being judged as well because he is in a great position. He is the key figure of a big club like Manchester United so it's logical that a lot of people are talking about him, judging him or that kind of thing. But that's normal and I think that he is able to cope with that."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Frank Rijkaard, former Netherlands player and manager (Q: You worked with Luis Enrique when he was a player, did you always expect him to go into management?)

"Could be, could be. He was also the captain of the team when I started at Barcelona and he was really always a very passionate football player, a very good football player and a good team player and I think Barcelona also started to be successful when Luis Enrique started to be involved with the team and helping the younger players because he had a big influence on the squad as an experienced player at that time, so it could be, you never know because when I was coaching there he was still a player but he had a lot of success and I really enjoyed (was pleased) it for him."
