"It was always going to be a big game. It's a Pool game against Australia, a very good team, one of the best in the world. But we trained exceptionally well this week. Last week has hardened us. There has been a real focus about what we've done this week. A real focus. And we've trained well because we've got to have some composure if we're going to beat one of the best teams in the world."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Graham Rowntree, England forwards coach:

"There is always an expectation for our forwards to deliver, and rightly so. If you're going to win any brand of rugby, you've got to have good ball for the backs anyway. But certainly, Australia, their tight play has really improved. I've been a big fan of what they've been doing. A big fan of what (Mario) Ledesma has brought to the team and they're going to be a real challenge for us that we're going to have to meet tomorrow."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Graham Rowntree, England forwards coach:

"I've got a lot of respect for this guy. The French referees in particular have got a lot of composure around the set-piece. He likes a scrum. He referees most weeks in a league where scrummaging is paramount, that French Top 14. I'm a big fan. We've had some really good days at the office as a forward pack with Romaine (Poite - referee for the game) involved."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Joe Launchbury, England lock

"Yes it's been absolutely brilliant. I don't think that anybody in the squad has got anything to say but really positive stuff about this Twickenham crowd in the last couple of years and, like you say, the last couple of weeks have taken that to a new level and we'll definitely need that tomorrow and I'm looking forward to playing there again."
