"It was fantastic to see the boys win and how they won it, to come back through being points down in the game and the injuries that occured in that game. To come back from that, the resilience that they showed was outstanding and knowing the hard work that they've put in, it was great to see them come back and win the match. I was watching in the house on the sofa and was absolutely delighted for them."

"Knowing the amount of hard work and preparation that has gone into this World Cup, and the quality that we have in the team, the strength in depth that was shown on the weekend (against England) the injuries that happened in that game and the boys that came on did an ourstanding job and it just goes to show the character and the reslience of the squad and the strength in depth that we have, I have no doubt that the boys can go all the way in this World Cup and go that one step further than we did in 2011. Go to that final and lift the trophy."

"Something we have learnt about playing the likes of Australia, that they play for the full eighty and you can't switch off for one second. We've been in games when we've been right in it and they've just nicked it at the end, the last couple of minutes. So you can't afford to switch off against the likes of Australia for one minute. The boys will know that and I'm sure that they'll be doing everything they can to be best prepared for that game, and win that game."
