SuggestedLeadIn: Sam Burgess named in England's World Cup squad, as Danny Cipriani and Luther Burrell are among those to miss out.
Script: "We continuously assess and monitor performance throughout the ten weeks that we have been together and we get a picture built up of the player, of their strengths and weaknesses and that obviously goes back over the last six or twelve months or however long we've worked with the player and we're constantly giving them areas to work on and areas to think about and develop and where they are in the pecking order, where the competition is. So for Luther (Burrell) we felt he trained really well, he had a good camp, but we just felt with Henry (Slade) and Sam (Burgess) in particular, as a duo really, they've come onto the scene late in different ways. Henry has got his opportunities with Exeter at 13 and he has really begun to play consistently well in the Premiership. We've obviously managed to get him in during the Six Nations, we played him in the Barbarians game, we had him in the Saxons but this is the first real chance for him to get into the camp just by virtue of the fact that he is a young player and he's earned his stripes in the Championship. And then Sam is obviously completely different. He has come in from a different code and developed himself. But both of them have come in (to the squad) and have absolutely trained the house down, impressed everyone - not just us but the players themselves - and come into that France game and made two debuts that I've not seen before and I think that was a reflection of how well they have both done and subsequently since then, they've maintained that."
