Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers spoke after Arsenal and Liverpool drew 0-0 in the English Premier League on Monday (24th August).

SOUNDBITE (English) Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool manager:
"We definitely could have had all three (points). Certainly, performance-wise I was very happy with how we worked. First half in particular, we created chances and should have been in front. Second half, you expect some pressure in the game, but we defended that very well and always looked a threat going forward, so our performance level has grown all the time. You see our defensive organisation was very good against a top-class team and the overriding feeling is we get a point, a clean sheet and we move to the next game."
SOUNDBITE (English) Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool manager: (on his side's defensive organisation so far this season):
"Very much so. I think, probably my teams - the focus is always on the football element, but anyone who has followed any of my careers as a youth coach and through into senior management, it's very much about how the intensity of how we press and that cohesion as a team and that was something that drifted last season for sure. So it's very important, especially with the number of new players coming in, that our defensive organisation was super-organised and that will be the platform for us with all our creative talent."
SOUNDBITE (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager: (on Aaron Ramsey's disallowed goal):
"There again I cannot say the opposite, it was a regular goal. Even it was maybe a period of the game (where) we had the most, many problems defensively, but it's a regular goal. I can't see why it was cancelled. It's clear and on that front you cannot say that Liverpool can complain in the last week."
SOUNDBITE (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager: (on his side's indifferent start to the season):
"We have started very average, I must concede, because we have four points after two home games and maybe we won the most difficult game away from home and at home at the moment we have not scored."
