Script: Shanghai SIPG came from behind to win 2-1 against their city rivals Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.
Looking for revenge after Shenhua prevailed in their FA cup quarter finals just four days earlier, SIPG looked to be going for a loss again as the home side were awarded a penalty in the 18th minute. The guilty culprit was Cai Huikang who was caught handling the ball in the box.
Tim Cahill stepped up, and made no mistake with this one, sending goalie Yan Junling the other way to open the score.
SIPG retaliated in the second half. Ghanaian international Asamoah Gyan demonstrated a lethal right-foot finish into the bottom corner to make it one-all in the 65th minute.
And they proceeded to take the lead just 6 minutes later .Shi Ke's back-flick from his right foot deflected off Mohamed Sissoko and the ball landed inside the net.
The game ended 2-1 and Sven-Goran Erikssons side advance to the top of the league, leaving Shenhua trailing behind on 6th.
