'England's Burgess dangerous' - France coach

Saturday, August 15 2015 by SNTV
  • SuggestedLeadIn: France coach Philippe Saint-André says England centre Sam Burgess is 'very strong' before Saturday's World Cup warm-up match.

Script: SOUNDBITE: (English) Philippe Saint-Andre, France head coach:

(asked about Sam Burgess playing for England)

"I watched him when he was playing rugby league already, so we know he's a very, very strong guy, he's very physical. To be honest we are more focused on us. When you play at Twickenham you cannot be focused on one guy, it's about all the team. Our target is to be focused on ourselves, to try and play a good tempo of game and also to see all the hard work on the fitness for the next few weeks."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Philippe Saint-Andre, France head coach:

(asked whether the game against England is a big occasion)

"I think so! All the time, for players, for coaching staff, when you have a game against England, all the time it's a huge challenge. For 100 games, to come to Twickenham, also in August, we don't come much in August. But the traffic was as bad as normal and the weather is like normal, so on the pitch it will be like normal!"
