Almost two weeks after announcing the capture of Colombia international striker Jackson Martinez from Porto, Atletico Madrid paraded their new signing at the Estadio Vicente Calderon on Sunday. 

The 28-year-old moves to the Spanish capital for a fee of 35-million euros ($38.4-million US dollars), having scored 67 goals in 90 appearances over the last three seasons for Porto.

SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Jackson Martinez, Atletico Madrid striker (asked if he feels pressure as an expensive signing): 

"The only pressure I might feel is if I ever feel tempted not to give 100 per cent in every training session and match. All the rest will be a consequence of the way the team will work, the goals too. I do not feel any pressure about that, no matter the effort the club has made regarding my signing. We both know what I can provide them as a player."

Martinez helped Colombia reach the quarter-finals of last year's World Cup in Brazil and scored twice in a 4-1 group win over Japan.
