West Ham United defender James Tomkins talks about the impact of new manager Slaven Bilic ahead of his first game in charge - a Europa League qualifier against Lusitans.

"Obviously at the minute he is training with the lads, the other team and the lads are saying how good training is. But he is certainly got that presence, all good managers have that presence in the room - as soon as you come in the room, you can hear a pin drop at times. That's what kind of presence he has got. I've met him myself briefly - he is obviously really excited to be involved with us this year, he has obviously stated that in the press. Everyone is just really looking forward to working with him. He is obviously someone here who made a great name for himself and the fans loved him here so I think he is going to be warmly introduced obviously to everyone.

"Cliche as it is, we are taking one game as it comes and this is Europa League, it is a nice distraction from the Premier League at the minute. It's a competition we want to do well in so we are just really looking forward to tomorrow, starting the season off well. Like I said, last season at Upton Park so we want to send it off in the best way possible and Europa League is a good start."
