    Script:

Danny Blind is the new Netherlands manager. The former Ajax boss and father of midfielder Daley Blind takes over from Guus Hiddink who stepped down earlier this week after just three wins from his first six European Qualifiers in charge.

That poor form followed a successful World Cup where Holland finished third under Louis van Gaal. Blind has been assistant manager of the national team since 2012 and now has a contract until 2018 in his new role. He says his only goal right now is to qualify for France next year.
