Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk trained at Warsaw's National Stadium on Tuesday (26 May), a day before the Europa League Final against holders Sevilla. The Ukraine club's coach, Myron Markevych, earlier admitted his players are "nervous", while midfielder Valeriy Fedorchuk addressed the delicate political situation in his home country.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE (Ukrainian) Myron Markevych, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk coach:

    (On reaching the final)

"Well, it's true I would not be frank if I said that we had planned to make the final but you get more appetite when you start eating, so as soon as we won the game with Olympiacos I started believing that we could go far enough, maybe not to the final but the semi-finals for sure."

SOUNDBITE (Ukrainian) Myron Markevych, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk coach:

    (On his players' emotions)

"Well, if I said that they (Dnipro players) are not worried I wouldn't be truthfiul. They feel nervous of course, but the important thing is that as soon as they get on the pitch tomorrow they stop being nervous."

SOUNDBITE (Ukrainian) Ruslan Rotan, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk captain:

(His feelings ahead of the game)

"Well, of course the emotions are high. We are very happy, it's a little bit hard to convey... but the most important thing is that we're expecting this grand finale for us. Yes, we are already a part of history and tomorrow we will do everything we can so we can bring to Ukraine and Dnipro the cup. Everyone is dreaming of that, we (the players) are not an exception. We will fight tomorrow."

SOUNDBITE (Ukrainian) Valeriy Fedorchuk, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk:

(On armed conflict in the Donbass region of Ukraine and whether Dnipro are looking to win in the name of Ukraine or Russia)

"Well, of course what is happening in Donetsk and Donbass is not very good for my country because we have always believed that we were the best of friends with Russia. And we wouldn't want such questions to be asked (whether Dnipro are playing for Ukraine or Russia) because we live in Ukraine. Of course tomorrow we will play for Ukraine because we represent our country."
