SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal Manager:

"I felt it was...we set ourselves a target to continue on a run but as well to continue to make progress as a team. We feel we have made progress during the season and tonight, I think, was a demonstration that we can improve and we can keep the quality very high. We play the kind of football we love to play and we played it for long periods in the game with the quality we desire."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal Manager:

    (On Jack Wilshere)

"No I am not surprised because I bought him on at 3-1 where it was not obvious. If I had any doubt I would not have brought him on. In training...I said it in the press conference on Friday that it is the first week in training where he has found his acceleration and his burst back and you could see that tonight. We have still to be patient, he has been out for five and half months."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Bruce, Hull City Manager:

"Well, when they are up and they are playing well then they are as good as any team in Europe. You know, when they play well with (Alexis) Sanchez and (Mesut) Ozil and (Santi) Carzola and (Aaron) Ramsey and then they bring (Jack) Wilshere on...they're a very very very good side when their tails are up - and we found it very very difficult. Thankfully we did stick at it. The goalkeeper has pulled off a few very good saves for us and who know, the goal difference, which could have been of huge - still might make an impact."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Bruce, Hull City Manager:

"Yeah I don't think we are going to be fined on a night when you play against Arsenal. We would all love the result, of course we would. It would have kept the momentum going if you like. We realise the importance, we realised the importance a few weeks ago before we played against Crystal Palace. We have got Burnley at home..big game coming up and then we go to White Hart Lane and, who knows what it is going to take but other teams have got difficult games to so, we are in there. We are in there giving ourselves a chance. Lets hope we can get a result at the weekend and give ourselves a bigger chance."
